Inspired by memories of Scotland, this mixed-media collage explores the way landscapes live on within us long after we've left them behind.
Layers of hills, water, plants, and fragmented stories are woven together into an imagined landscape. The result is a place that feels both familiar and elusive - part recollection, part reconstruction.
Created during a period of coming to terms with building a life on the other side of the world, the work emerged through the tactile process of tearing, arranging, and layering materials by hand. There was something deeply grounding in this act of piecing together fragments, allowing memory, place, and identity to be explored through touch as much as image.
A reflection on belonging, distance, and the landscapes we continue to carry within us.
